The Allocation Process

Under the leadership of the Admissions & Allocations Council, many hours were spent evaluating programs before recommending funding for the year 2009.

Four teams performed agency visits to review the programs and their goals for the coming year.

Volunteers don’t just ask the agencies what they do...they ask them how well they’ve done it. How do you know if your program was successful? How do you measure the outcomes? What is the plan for the future?

The continued focus on outcome measurement truly helps agencies and the United Way focus on improving the quality of services in Knox County.

What does this mean for you? It means we are making sure that each and every dollar that you invest in the United Way is spent wisely.
